First glimpse of Kishkindhapuri out: a haunted mansion will be the source of terror for a bunch of explorers

The film is directed by Koushik Pegallapati, who made his debut with the 2021 film Chaavu Kaburu Challaga

The first glimpse of Bellamkonda Sreenivas-Anupama Parmeswaran starrer Kishkindhapuri was unveiled on Tuesday. The title of the film was officially announced a few days ago.

The first glimpse video establishes an abandoned, haunted mansion as the backdrop of the narrative, where the lead characters pay a visit, and are further sucked in by its mysterious elements. Sam CS’s haunting background score further adds to the intriguing visuals of the glimpse teaser. 

Kishkindhapuri will also reunite Sreenivas and Anupama, who last worked together in the 2019 film Rakshasudu. Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ upcoming projects include Bhairavam, the official remake of Garudan, which too is slated for a released in coming few months. 

Kishkindhapuri is directed by Koushik Pegallapati, who made his debut with Chaavu Kaburu Challaga (2021). The film, billed as a horror thriller is produced by Sahu Garapati under the banner of Shine Screens. In the technical crew, Chinmay Salaskar is the cinematographer and Niranjan Devaramane is the editor. Art direction is by Siva Kamesh, while Manisha Dutt is the production designer. 

The makers also announced that they are planning to release their film in the second half of 2025, although a specific date is yet to be announced.
