Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in The Family Star, is gearing up for his next release, the much-awaited Kingdom. The upcoming action-thriller, directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 30. The makers of the film shared an update about the film’s single on Monday.

The promo of the first single (whose title remains undisclosed so far) will be unveiled on April 30. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for the film. Taking to his X page, Vijay Deverakonda posted, “Ani has got me stuck on a looooop! Is a full on Viiiiibe. From the world of #Kingdom. Promo out April 30.” The team also released a song poster, which features the film’s lead pair sitting on a bench at a railway station, seemingly destined to take upon separate journeys. 

Produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Kingdom also stars Bhagyashri Borse. The teaser for the film, which was released in February, had voiceover by Jr NTR. For the Hindi and Tamil version respectively, Ranbir Kapoor and Suriya provided the voiceover.

Kingdom is confirmed to be a two-part action epic, with a focus on folklore. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographers Jomon T John and Girish Gangadharan, production designer Avinash Kolla, and editor Navin Nooli.
