The makers of Yamudu released their new poster on Saturday. The upcoming mythological film is directed by Jagadeesh Aamanchi, who also plays the lead role in his film. 

In the newly released poster, Jagadeesh can be seen in Yamraaj’s avatar, with the backdrop featuring a Mahishasura-like demonic figure, and the female protagonist being held captive, lying in front of him. Shravani Shetty plays the female lead. The poster also carries the tagline, “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitah (Dharma protects those who protect it).”

Earlier, the makers had released the title poster on the occasion of Deepawali. Yamudu is being produced under the banner of Jagannatha Pictures. Jagadeesh has also penned the storyline for the film, while screenplay is by Shiva Kundrapu. Bhavani Rakesh has composed music for the film. The cinematography and editing are by Vishnu Reddy Vanga and KCB Hari, respectively.

The makers of Yamudu have completed their shoot, and are currently busy with post-production process. A release date is expected to be announced soon.
