Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s release date remains unchanged, makers confirm

Recent reports emerged about the Pawan Kalyan starrer getting delayed again

The makers of the Pawan Kalyan starrer Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 - Sword Vs Spirit announced the release date of the film is still May 9. There have been reports suggesting delay in release, and social media has been abuzz that the film’s OTT deal is on a cliffhanger. The makers have come forward on Friday and confirmed that the film’s release is on track. They wrote, “Re-recording, Dubbing, and VFX are in full swing—pushing boundaries at lightning speed. We’re gearing up to bring you the biggest cinematic spectacle of the summer! Hari Hara Veera Mallu hits the big screens on May 9, 2025. Get ready for an epic experience like never before!”

Hari Hara Veera Mallu has been a long-delayed project which was officially announced in January 2020. Pawan Kalyan is essaying the role of a historical warrior outlaw who goes against the oppressive Nizam regime. This marks the first period outing for the actor. 

The film’s direction is credited to both Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krisna, son of AM Rathnam, the producer of the film. Hari Hara Veera Mallu’s cast has Bobby Deol, Anupam Kher, Nidhi Agerwal and more. The film has Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnana Shekar VS handling cinematography, while Thota Tharani is the production designer. Pawan Kalyan also has the most awaited OG, directed by Sujeeth, in the pipeline.
