Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who last headlined the period action thriller Devil: The British Secret Agent, is gearing up for his next release, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi. The film also features Vijayashanthi in a significant role. Ahead of their film’s release, the makers finished censorship formalities — Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi has received a U/A certificate from the censor board.
Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, the film promises to tell a captivating story about a mother-son duo and their contrasting ideologies that lead them towards opposing paths of law and order. The film, blending action, emotion, and thrills in equal parts, has a final runtime of 2 hours and 24 minutes.
The film also features Sohail Khan and Saiee Manjrekar in key roles. Produced under Ashoka Creations and NTR Arts by Muppa Venkaiah Chowdary, Sunil Balusu, Ashok Vardhan Muppa, and Kalyan Ram, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi has cinematography by Ram Prasad and editing by Thammiraju.
Slated to release on April 18, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi will clash at the box boxoffice against Tamannaah starrer Odela 2 and Priyadarshi starrer Sarangapani Jathakam. Meanwhile, the second single of the film, titled, will be released on Wednesday, April 9, at a special event in Chittoor. Ajaneesh Loknath is the music director for the film. titled ‘Muchataga Bandhaale,’ The song promises to capture the bonding between Vijayashanthi and Kalyanram’s characters.
