Actor Akhil Akkineni’s next film, tentatively titled Akhil 6, is set for an official announcement with title reveal and first-look poster on April 8, on the occasion of his birthday. Ahead of the reveal, the makers released a pre-look poster that hints at a dramatic, action-packed narrative. The film is set to pair Sreeleela with Akhil in their first outing together.

The poster features Akhil with his face obscured by his own fist, which is being tightly held by a bloodied hand. It carries the tagline, “No war is more violent than love,” suggesting the film will explore themes of love and conflict, likely in the romantic action-drama genre.

Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, known for Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha, the film is jointly produced by Sithara Entertainments and Annapurna Studios. Reported to be titled Lenin, the film's music is set to be composed by Thaman.

Akhil, who made his debut a decade ago, has acted in five films so far. Of these, the romantic drama Most Eligible Bachelor was his only moderate success, while other commercial-oriented films like Akhil and Agent underperformed at the box office. With this new project, Akhil appears to be donning a rural and gritty character.
