Balu Gani Talkies, the upcoming OTT movie starring Shiva Ramachandravarapu in the titular role, has a new release date now. Earlier slated to hit the streaming platform Aha on September 13, the film will now begin streaming on October 4 instead.

The film also marks the debut for Saranya Sharma. On Saturday, the makers release a character poster for the actress, who plays the role of Sasi.  Balu Gani Talkies is written and directed by debutant Vishwanath Prathap. The film is set in the 1990s, revolving around Balu (Shiva Ramachandravarapu), who is popularly known as BF Balu in the village, for playing adult films. How he aims to get a Nandamuri Balakrishna film playing in his theatre forms the crux of the story. 

The film also features Raghu Kunche, Sudhakar Reddy, Vamshi Nekkanti, Suresh Poojari and Shekar Chandra in the ensemble cast. On the technical front, Balu Sandilyasa is the cinematographer, and Anwar Ali is editor. Smaran is the music director. Balu Gani Talkies is produced by Sreenidhi Sagar with co-production by P. Rupak Pranav Tej.
