Sai Ronak and Pragya Nagra will be soon seen in the romantic drama Laggam. Over the past few months, the makers have been promoting their film with song releases. On Sunday, the Laggam makers set October 18 as the release date for their film. 

Written and directed by Ramesh Cheppala, Laggam is set against the backdrop of Telangana heartland, and promises to be a family entertainer. Venugopal Reddy is producing the film under the banner of Subishi Entertainments. Veterans like Rajendra Prasad and Rohini are part of the film’s ensemble cast, which also includes Lakshman Meesala, Prabhavati, Saptagiri, LB Sriram, and Viva Reddy, among others. 

On the technical front, Bala Reddy and Bonathala Nageswara Reddy are in charge of cinematography and editing, respectively. Eminent composer Mani Sharma has composed the background score, while Charan Arjun is the music director. 

As of now, Laggam remains the only major Telugu release on October 18.
