Sudheer Babu, who last headlined the crime-drama Harom Hara, will soon be seen playing the lead role in Maa Nanna Superhero. The makers of the film unveiled their first look poster on Monday, also announcing the release date window. Maa Naa Superhero is scheduled for a Dussehra 2024 release.

The first-look poster shows Sudheer Babu riding a scooter, and greeting a bunch of school kids on his way. The makers also shared that the teaser for their film will be unveiled on Thursday, September 12.

Directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara of Loser fame, the film will reportedly feature Sudheer Babu in a middle-class man’s role. Abhilash Reddy is also one of the writers for the film, sharing credits with MVS Bharadwaj and Shravan Madala. Maa Nanna Superhero is reportedly a father-son drama that delves into the themes of familial love and connection. 

The ensemble cast of the film features Aarna, Sai Chand, Sayaji Shinde, Raju Sundaram, Shashank, Aamani, and Annie. Raju Sundaram is also onboard as the song choreographer. 

Maa Nanna Superhero is being bankrolled under the banner of V Celluloids in association with CAM Entertainment, with Sunil Balasu serving as the producer. Jay Krish is the music director. The cinematography and editing will be helmed by Sameer Kalyani and Anil Kumar P, respectively.
