The makers of Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor, announced the trailer release date for the film with a poster. The trailer is set to release on September 10 with Jr NTR and team landing in Mumbai for the trailer launch. The makers also shared a special poster depicting a calm Jr NTR in position as the protector of the seas. Devara is set to hit theatres on September 27. 

Devara: Part 1 is Jr NTR’s second collaboration with Koratala Siva, following the 2016 film Janatha Garage. Three Bollywood stars, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, make their Telugu debut in the action thriller. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko and Prakash Raj, among others. The film also has a well-known technical crew such as Sreekar Prasad as editor, Sabu Cyril as production designer and Rathnavelu as the cinematographer. 

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram and Sudhakar Mikkilineni-Kosaraju Harikrishna backed Devara under the labels of NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts, respectively. Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer for the action-thriller.
