Kiran Abbavaram’s KA completes censorship formalities

The upcoming film, also starring Nayan Sarika, is a period thriller

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Kiran Abbavaram starrer KA completed the censorship formalities. The psychological thriller has received a U/A certificate from the censor board.

Directed by debutant duo Sujith-Sandeep, KA is a period film set in the 1980s, where Kiran plays a kind and sensitive postman. The official trailer for the film was unveiled on Friday. During a recent press meet, the Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru actor clarified that despite the use of many action moments in the trailer, KA is not an action-driven film. 

The film also stars Aay fame Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram in prominent roles, besides featuring Ajay and Saranya Pradeep in the supporting cast. Sam CS is the music director for the film. The production design and costume design for the period thriller are by Sudheer Macharla and Anusha Punjla, respectively.

Produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, KA is slated for a theatrical release on October 31, clashing with Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lucky Baskhar.
