KA trailer: Kiran Abbavaram plays a simple-minded postman who turns into a vengeant messiah

The upcoming thriller is slated for a theatrical release on October 31

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of KA unveiled their official trailer on Friday. Kiran Abbavaram headlines the upcoming thriller.

In KA, Kiran Abbavaram plays a simple-minded postman who is loved and admired by everyone in his village. However, tables turn on him when he is summoned by a mysterious man, compelling him to embark on a mission that could be fatal for everyone around. How the postman navigates the moral conundrum and decides to save his village from destruction forms the crux of the story here.

Nayan Sarika, who has earlier played pivotal roles in films like Gam Gam Ganesha and Aay, plays the female lead in KA. Tanvi Raam, Ajay, and Saranya Pradeep too play significant roles in the film. KA is written and directed by Sujith-Sandeep, who are making their debut with the film. Sam CS is the music director. The cinematography is co-helmed by Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy Masam. Sree Varaprasad is the editor. Set in the 1970s and 80s, the film has production design by Sudheer Macharla and costume design by Anusha Punjla. 

Produced by Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy, KA is slated to release on October 31, clashing with Dulquer Salmaan starrer Lucky Baskhar.
