Balakrishna, Boyapati Srinu to collaborate again; film to be launched on Oct 16

The actor-director duo had earlier worked together in Simha, Legend and Akhanda

Nandamuri Balakrishna, who last headlined the action-drama Bhagavanth Kesari, has now signed a movie with eminent film director Boyapati Srinu. The film will be officially launched on Wednesday, October 16, the makers announced.

The film, tentatively titled BB4, is being produced by Raam Achanta and Gopichand Achanta, under the banner of 14 Reels Plus Banner, who had also produced Legend. Reporters, the makers are mounting BB4 on a lavish scale, aiming for this to be Balakrishna’s most expensive project till date. More details about the film’s primary cast and crew are expected to be announced at the launch ceremony

Balakrishna and Srinu have earlier collaborated on films like Simha, Legend and Akhanda, all of which achieved great success at box office and acquired a fanbase in years to come. Boyapati’s previous directorial was the Ram Pothineni starrer Skanda, which released nearly a year ago.

Balakrishna’s upcoming projects include NBK 109, directed by Bobby Koli, which also stars Bobby Deol, Payal Rajput, and Prakash Raj.
