The makers of Laggam unveiled their official trailer on Thursday. Sai Ronak and Pragya Nagra play the lead roles in the film. 

The trailer establishes Rajendra Prasad as a simple middle-aged villager who is obsessed with the software industry, and is therefore keen to find a groom with software background for his daughter Manasi (Pragya Nagra). Sai Ronak plays the film’s male lead, who is chosen as a suitable match. However, things take a turn when the families learn of a major detail about the chosen groom. Written and directed by Ramesh Cheppala, Laggam promises to be a wholesome family entertainer with healthy dose of romance, humour and drama.

The film also stars Rohini in a prominent role. Mani Sharma has been credited for ‘original score,’ while Charan Arjun is the music director. Bonthala Nageswara Reddy is the editor and MN Bal Reddy is the cinematographer.

Produced by Venugopal Reddy under the Subishi Entertainments banner, Laggam will hit theatres on October 25.
