Eminent filmmaker Maruthi, whose upcoming film is the Prabhas starrer The Raja Saab, has acquired worldwide distribution rights for the film Ghatikachalam. The Raja Saab filmmaker has bought the said rights in association with Sreenivasa Kumar, aka SKN, the producer of Baby, among other films.

Maruthi shared the update on his X page on Tuesday. His post read, “Loved this horror yet thrilling film, Ghatikachalam. SKN & myself had acquired the Worldwide Release Rights of the Film. Can’t wait to show you all this amazing film.”

Ghatikachalam marks the lead debut for Nikhil Devadula, who has earlier worked as a child artist in films like Baahubali: The Beginning and Babu Baga Busy. The first look of the film was released in August. Ghatikachalam promises to be a gripping supernatural thriller.

Amar Kamepalli is the screenplay writer and the director for the film, while MC Raju has penned the story. Flavio Cuccurullo is the music director, and SS Manoj is the cinematographer. Anil Pogaru is in charge of the production design.

Also starring Samyu Reddy in a major role, Ghatikachalam is being produced under the banner of Oasis Entertainment.
