We had recently reported that the makers of Laggam had set October 25 as the new release date for their film. Now the makers have completed the censorship formalities — Laggam has received a ‘U’ certificate.

Laggam is bankrolled by Venugopal Reddy under the banner of Subishi Entertainments. Written and directed by Ramesh Cheppala, Laggam stars Sai Ronak and Pragya Nagra in the lead roles. Actors like Rajendra Prasad, Rohini, Lakshman Meesala, Viva Reddy and Saptagiri, among others, comprise the supporting cast of the film. Laggam revolves around a love story, set against the backdrop of rural Telangana, promising to be a family entertainer.

Charan Arjun is the music director for the film. The makers have released four songs of their film so far, which have collectively garnered over 4 million hits on YouTube. Additionally, veteran music director Mani Sharma has been signed to compose background score for the film. On the technical front, Bala Reddy and Bonathala Nageswara Reddy are in charge of cinematography and editing, respectively.

Sai Ronak was last seen in the 2023 film Neerakshana. Pragya, meanwhile, will make her Telugu debut with the film.
