In a complete departure from his usual comical roles, Naresh portrays a rugged, rebellious character, introducing himself as a man who indulges in smoking, drinking, and carefree living. Veteran actor Rohini plays his mother, lamenting his troubled past, while the teaser culminates in high-octane action sequences where Naresh's character confronts adversaries, including the police.

The teaser hints at Naresh's first foray into a full-fledged commercial hero role, promising intense action and raw emotion. The launch event, held at AAA Cinemas in Hyderabad, saw Naresh arrive dramatically on a tractor, reflecting his on-screen persona.

Bachhala Malli is written and directed by Subbu Mangadevvi and produced by Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta under the Hasya Movies banner.
