Written and directed by Venky Atluri, Lucky Bhaskar is set in the 1980s. Dulquer Salmaan portrays Bhaskar, a guy prepared to risk everything for his family, but his gamble with the financial world soon takes a moral and emotional toll. The film combines dramatic intensity and witty self-awareness. Meenakshi Chaudhary also stars in the film as Sumathi, Bhaskar's loving but hesitant wife.

Srikara Studios presented Lucky Baskhar, which was bankrolled by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas labels. The film’s technical crew has cinematography by Nimish Ravi and art direction by Naveen Nooli. The thriller has music by GV Prakash.
