The makers of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi starrer Thandel unveiled the film’s first single, ‘Bujji Thalli.’ The song billed as “The love song of the year” is an intense composition with a captivating melody by the music director Devi Sri Prasad. The love track has compelling vocals by Javed Ali and poetic lyrics penned by Shree Mani. The solo violin by Manoj is especially a heartstealer. The intense romantic drama is coming to screens on February 7, 2025.

Thandel is a love story set along the Srikakulam coast, with Naga Chaitanya portraying a fisherman captured by the Pakistani army and his yearning to return to his partner. Sai Pallavi, who is currently celebrating the success of her recent blockbuster, Amaran, plays the romantic interest for Chaitanya. Written and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, known for the National Award winning Karthikeya 2. The love story is presented by Geetha Arts and produced by Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas. The film’s technical crew has Shamdat who cranked the camera and Srinagendra Tangala who took care of production design.

The upcoming film Thandel marks the second collaboration between actor Naga Chaitanya and director Chandoo Mondeti. The duo previously worked together on the 2016 Telugu film Premam, an official remake of the Malayalam classic of the same name. Originally slated for a Sankranti release, the makers of Thandel later decided to reschedule the release to a later date, ensuring ample time for production and promotion.
