Last week, we had reported that the makers of Sai Durgha Tej’s next, tentatively titled SDT 18, had signed Jagapathi Babu to play a pivotal role in their film. Now, Ananya Nagalla has officially joined the cast of SDT 18.

Backed by Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, SDT 18 is billed as a period action-drama. The film is being directed by debutant Rohith KP, who is also the scriptwriter for his film. The film, which also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, Srikanth Meka and Saikumar in the supporting cast, is set to have a pan-Indian release in the languages of Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Ajaneesh Loknath, who has worked for films like Maharaja, Kantara and Mangalvaaram, is composing music for SDT 18.

Ananya Nagalla, who was recently seen in Pottel, has worked in films like Tantra and Darling this year. Meanwhile, Sai Durgha Tej was last seen in the Pawan Kalyan starrer Bro, which released in July 2023.
