Sumanth Prabhas, who ventured into Telugu cinema by writing, directing and starring in Mem Famous, is gearing up for his second feature film produced by Red Puppet Productions. The project, directed by debutant Subash Chandra, was launched with a traditional puja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. The event saw industry figures like Sree Vishnu, who clapped the muhurtham shot, and Suresh Babu, who handled the camera for the launch. Directors Srikanth Odela, Shouryuv, and Mahesh Babu P directed the first shot, while Allu Aravind handed over the script to the filmmakers,

Following the acclaim and recognition of Mem Famous, Sumanth Prabhas reportedly considered numerous scripts before finalising this youthful romantic comedy, which will feature debut actress Nidhi Pradeep in the lead role and Jagapathi Babu in a pivotal part.

Set against the backdrop of Bhimavaram and the West Godavari region, the film promises to blend rural comedy with musical elements. Sai Santosh is cranking the camera, while Naga Vamshi Krishna will compose the music. The film is expected to go on floors soon. More details are to be revealed by the makers.
