The Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule is rumoured to have some major last-minute changes in its technical crew. Reports suggest that the makers decided to have an alternate background score composed with noted musicians SS Thaman, Sam CS, and Ajaneesh Loknath. It is speculated that director Sukumar and actor Allu Arjun are unsatisfied with music composer Devi Sri Prasad’s background score, even though they have decided to retain his songs for the period gangster drama. The makers are yet to reveal whether they will replace Devi’s composition altogether or whether it will be used alongside an alternate score.

This sudden change has not gone down well with many on social media, dividing opinion and causing doubts on the film’s output given that it is releasing on December 5.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Jagadeesh Pratap among others. Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers produced the much anticipated franchise in association with Sukumar Writings.

Pushpa 2: The Rule's technical crew includes cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Naveen Nooli.
