Chandini Chowdary, who is gearing up for her next release, Music Shop Murthy, will soon also be seen in the psychological thriller Yevam. The makers of the film released their official teaser on Friday.

The teaser simultaneously introduces both its protagonists (played by Chandini Chowdary and Bharat Raj) and the main antagonist, Yugandhar (played by Vasishta Simha). Vasishta seemingly plays a psychopathic killer who can go to dangerous lengths to fulfil his lust, while Chandini plays a determined cop whose paths cross with Yugandhar. The teaser is underlined with a hauntingly lyrical interlude that captures the film’s dark themes. Yevam promises to be a gripping action thriller with elements of folklore. 

Prakash Dantuluri has written and directed the film, while Navdeep and Pavan Goparaju serve as the producers. Yevam is jointly bankrolled under the banners of CSpace and Prakash Dantuluri Productions. The music is composed by Keertana Sesh and Neelesh Mandalapu. S.V Vishweshwar is the cinematographer, and Srujana Adusumilli is the editor. 

The makers of Yevam haven’t set a release date for their film yet.
