Vishnu Manchu, who will next be seen in the fantasy-drama Kannappa, made an announcement about the film's teaser. The Kannappa teaser is all set to be launched on May 20 at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival.

The actor's social media post about the announcement read, “Can’t wait to show you all The World Of Kannappa on the 20th May. Launching it in Cannes Film Festival.”

Mukesh Kumar Singh is directing Kannappa, while M Mohan Babu is producing the film under the banner 24 Frames Factory.

Mohan Babu is also a part of the film’s cast, while other stars like Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu and Preity Mukundhan play significant roles in the film. Additonally, Kannappa features special appearances from Prabhas and Akshay Kumar.

Stephen Devassy is the music director for the project. Sheldon Chau is the cinematographer, while Anthony Gonsalvez is the editor.

The makers of Kannappa are planning to release their film in six languages - Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
