Indrani gets a new release date

The upcoming superwoman film stars Yaaneea Bharadwaj in the lead role

The makers of Indrani: Epic 1 Dharam vs Karam have officially postponed their film’s release. Earlier slated to hit theatres on May 24, the film will instead release on June 14.

On the occasion, the makers also released a new brief teaser of their film, introducing Happy and Time Machine, the generative AI Robot characters in it. The film is set in a futuristic universe (2122 AD) where the Indian government has managed to create a team of Indian Super Soldiers with the help of robotics technology who are compelled to time travel and save their nation after a world war breaks out.

Indrani stars Yaaneea Bharadwaj in the lead role, and it features Ankita, Kabir Singh, Ajay, Saptagiri, Shataf Figur, Garima, Franiata, Rishika, Sunaina, and Tanushree in the supporting cast. Stephen Pallam is the writer, director, and producer of Indrani. The filmmaker has also supervised the VFX for his film. KK Reddy, Sudhir Velpula, and Jay Sen serve as the film’s co-producers.
