The makers of Manjummel Boys have finally set a date for releasing their film in a Telugu-dubbed version. The survival drama will be distributed in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Primeshow Entertainment and Sukumar Writings, who are planning to release the film on April 6.
Mythri Movie Makers took to their X page to make the announcement, posting, “The highest grossing Malayalam film, Manjummel Boys, is now coming to entertain the Telugu audience. Grand release worldwide on April 6th.” Earlier this month, Manjummel Boys became the first Malayalam film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office. Additionally, the film also did exceptional business in Tamil Nadu, earning over 50 crores.
Manjummel Boys is written and directed by Chidambaram, while Soubin Shahir, Babu Shahir, and Shawn Antony served as the producers. The film’s ensemble cast comprised names like Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Ganapathy, Jean Paul Lal, Balu Varghese, Deepak Parambol, Arun Kurian, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Chandu Salimkumar, Vishnu Raghu, and Khalid Rahman.
It is to be noted that earlier this month, another Malayalam film, Premalu, was released in a Telugu-dubbed version. The Naslen K Gafoor-Mamitha Baiju starrer romantic comedy has earned more than 10 crores net in Telugu to date.
