'Motha’ song from Gangs of Godavari out

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the catchy dance number

The makers of Vishwak Sen starrer Gangs of Godavari released their second single, 'Motha', on Monday. The music for Gangs of Godavari has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Sung by M M Manasi, ‘Motha’ is a catchy dance number with a rustic melody and heavy bass-driven beats. Academy Award winner Chandrabose has penned the lyrics. The ‘Motha’ song video features Vishwak Sen and Ayesha Khan taking centre stage at a celebratory gathering and dancing their hearts out.

Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has been active as a music director for nearly 24 years, has earlier worked for popular Telugu movies like 7G Rainbow Colony (2004), Happy (2006), and Oy! (2009). 

Gangs of Godavari, which also stars Neha Sshetty in a prominent role, has been long time in the making. The film’s ensemble cast includes actors like Anjali, Nasser, and Goparaju Ramana in supporting roles. Anita Mathadi is the cinematographer for the film, and Navin Nooli is the editor.

Written and directed by Krishna Chaitanya, Gangs of Godavari is now slated to release on May 17.
