The makers of the upcoming Sharwanand-starrer Manamey shared an update about their film on Tuesday, announcing their their first single ‘Ika Na Maate’ will be released on March 28. Eminent music director Hesham Abdul Wahab is the composer for Manamey, which is produced by People Media Factory.

Earlier this month, Manamey makers unveiled the first look motion poster of their film, featuring Sharwanand and a child artist. The film, which also stars Krithi Shetty, promises to be a family entertainer revolving around a father-son relationship.

Sriram Adittya, who has earlier made films like Bhale Manchi Roju (2015) and Devadasu (2018), is the director for the film. Manamey also marks the first collaboration between the film's two leads Sharwanand and Krithi. 

Manamey, which was officially announced in March 2023, is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla, while Ramsay Studios is presenting the film. The cinematography is by Vishnu Sharma, and Prawin Pudi is the editor.

Besides Manamey, Sharwanand has too other projects in the pipeline – Sharwa 36, a sports drama produced by UV Creations, and Sharwa 37, which is being directed by Ram Abbaraju.
