The makers of Market Mahalakshmi have announced on Sunday that their film would release on April 19 instead of the previously announced March 29. Market Mahalakshmi is a romantic comedy starring Parvateesam and Praneekaanivikaa in lead roles. The film revolves around an upper-middle- class boy who falls in love with a sassy, street-smart vegetable seller. The film marks Praneekaanivikaa’s debut. 

Market Mahalakshmi also stars Harsha Vardhan, Mahaboob Basha, Mukku Avinash, Kedar Shankar, Meesam Suresh and Padma Nimmanagoti. The film is written and directed by debutant VS Mukkhesh. Joe Emnav is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Surendra Chilumula. Akhilesh Kalaru has produced the film under the banner B2P Studios.
