The makers of Gangs of Godavari shared an update on Friday about their film’s soundtrack, announcing that their next single, 'Motha', will be released on March 25. The upcoming action-drama stars Vishwak Sen and Neha Sshetty in the lead roles.

Gangs of Godavari is jointly bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banner of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Taking to their X page, the film’s production banner, Sithara Entertainments, posted, “The Electrifying Mass Beat of the Year ft. Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen  & Ayeshaa Khan is coming to rule your playlists! Motha, the next blockbuster single from Gangs Of Godavari, will be out on March 25th!”

The ‘Motha’ song video features Vishwak Sen along with Ayeshaa Khan, who was seen in the recently released comedy Om Bheem Bush. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for Gangs of Godavari, while the lyrics are penned by Academy Award winner Chandrabose. 

The Gangs of Godavari makers released their first single, ‘Suttamla Soosi', in August 2023. The song video for the same, which featured the film’s lead pair, Vishwak and Neha, has garnered over 48 million YouTube hits so far. 

The film’s ensemble cast includes actors like Anjali, Nasser, and Goparaju Ramana in supporting roles. Anita Mathadi is the cinematographer for the film, and Navin Nooli is the editor. Written and directed by lyricist turned filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya, Gangs of Godavari is slated to release on May 17.
