Eminent film producer Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical distribution rights of the upcoming horror comedy Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi for the Nizam region. Sharing the update on social media, the film’s production house, Kona Film Corporation, posted, “The Nizam theatrical rights of our spine-chilling & laughter-packed Geetanjali Malli Vachindhi have been acquired by the visionary Dil Raju Garu.”

Dil Raju is one of the leading producers of the Telugu film industry. He began his film career as a film distributor in 1997 with the film Pelli Pandiri and established Sri Venkateswara Film Distributions one year later. Dil Raju’s upcoming productions include Game Changer and the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Family Star.

An official sequel to the 2014 film Geethanjali, Geethanjali Malli Vachindi marks the 50th film of its female lead, Anjali, and the directorial debut for choreographer Shiva Turlapati. A few weeks ago, the makers announced their decision to postpone the release to April 11 instead of March 15, as planned earlier.
