Actor Kiran Abbavaram got engaged to his Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru (2020) co-star Rahasya Gorak in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday night. The actors, who have been dating for the last four years, have been mum about their relationship to date despite speculations on their union making the rounds. The couple is reportedly set to marry later this year.

Raja Vaaru Rani Gaaru, written and directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, marked the debut of both Kiran Abbavaram. The coming-of-age love story, set on the East Godavari coast, was a success on both critical and commercial front. Rahasya had previously worked in Akashamantha Prema (2016), opposite Harsh Narra. She had also appeared in the Tamil film Sarbath (2021) alongside Kathir and Soori.

Kiran Abbavaram, on the other hand, has risen up the ranks as one of the Telugu film industry’s up-and-coming stars over the last four years. The actor was last seen in Rules Ranjann. Directed by AM Rathnam, the film, which also starred Neha Sshetty, was a box-office dud.
