The makers of the upcoming action drama Family Star released their new single on Tuesday. The film, starring Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles, is bankrolled by producer duo Raju-Shirish.

Titled ‘Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha’, the song is a celebratory number that’s both upbeat and emotional in its mood. The song also has a very rustic flavour, being picturised against the backdrop of a traditional Indian wedding. 

'Kalyani Vaccha Vaccha' is composed by Gopi Sundar, while the lyrics are penned by Anantha Sriram. Mangli and Karthik have provided the vocals. 

Vijay Deverakonda’s last major appearance was in the romantic drama Kushi, while Mrunal Thakur was last seen in Hi Nanna, where she shared the screen with Nani.

Written and directed by Parasuram, Family Star is slated to have a theatrical release on April 5.
