First look of Rao Ramesh-starrer Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam out

The film is directed by Lakshman Karya, who has previously helmed the 2018 film Happy Wedding

The makers of upcoming comedy-drama Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam unveiled their first look on Tuesday. The film stars Rao Ramesh in the titular role. 

To unveil the first-look poster, the makers executed a unique promotional campaign by launching a QR code publicly, which connects to the poster. Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam is produced by Bujji Rayadu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under the banners of PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics. 

Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam went on the floors in March 2023, and the team wrapped up their shoot in December. The film is a Lakshman Karya directorial. Lakshman, who made his directorial debut with the 2018 film Happy Wedding, had earlier worked as an assistant director on films like Autonagar Surya (2014).

Rao Ramesh, who has worked in more than 140 films in his 22-year-old career, was last seen in the Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram. Besides Ramesh, the film features Indraja, Ankith Koyya, and Ramya Pasupuleti in significant roles. Kalyan Nayak is the music composer for the project, while M N Balreddy is the cinematographer.
