Vishnu Manchu unveils new Kannappa poster

Vishnu Manchu will soon be seen in the upcoming multilingual film Kannappa. The actor, who is playing the titular role in the film, shared a new poster for the film on Friday.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Vishnu posted about the film, “Honoured and privileged to portray the greatest devotee of Lord Shiva, 'Kannappa'. Today on Maha ShivaRatri, here is your Kannappa.”

Kannappa has been over seven years in the making, including an extensive pre-production phase before the makers decided to go on the shooting floors. The film is based on a true story, as claimed by the makers in their new poster. Mukesh Kumar Singh is directing the action-drama, while M Mohan Babu is producing the film under the banner 24 Frames Factory.

Mohan Babu is also a part of the film’s cast, while other veterans like Preity Mukundhan, Mohanlal, Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Madhoo, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, and Raghu Babu play significant roles in the film. Stephen Devassy is the music director for the project. Sheldon Chau is the cinematographer, while Anthony Gonsalvez is the editor.

The makers of Kannappa are planning to release their film in 6 languages: Hindi, English, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
