Filmmaker Venu Udugula took to his social media page on Thursday to extend his wishes to Kumara Swamy Akshara, director of the upcoming film Sharthula Varthisthai!. Akshara had worked as an associate director for Venu’s 2018 directorial Needi Naadi Oke Katha. 

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, Venu recalled how Akshara, while serving as an assistant on his films, had been a travel companion for a few years. Further talking about having the opportunity to read Akshara’s debut film script before the film went on the floors, Venu penned, “It’s a narrative that astonishingly reflects the honesty, purity, and love inherent in his personality. These endearing qualities are abundant both in him and within his story.”

Venu concluded his note by wishing Akshara all the best and commercial success for Sharthulu Varthisthai. While Akshara penned the story and screenplay for the film, the dialogue is written by Peddinti Ashok Kumar.

Sharthulu Varthisthai! is produced by Sreelatha - Nagarjun Samala, Sharadha - Sreesh Kumar Gunda, and Vijaya - Dr. Krishnakanth Chittajallu. Arun Chiluveru has composed the music for the film. Cinematography is co-helmed by Praveen Vanamali and Shekar Pochampally. 

The film stars Chaitanya Krishna and Bhoomi Shetty in lead roles, while the supporting cast includes names like Nanda Kishore, Santosh Yadav, Deva Raj Palamuru, Padmavathi, Venkey Monkey, and Shiva Kalyan, among others. 

Sharthulu Varthisthai! is slated to hit the theatres on March 15.
