Anshu Saggar reunites with her Manmadhudu co-star Nagarjuna, shares pictures

The actor is planning to make a comeback after two decades

Former actor Anshu Saggar has made news recently by announcing her wish to return to the world of movies in a podcast hosted by internet personality Nikhil Vijayendra Simha. The actor shared pictures of her reunion with her Manmadhudu co-star on Monday, reminiscing the time she spent working opposite the seasoned star. Praising Nagarjuna's chivalry, Anshu writes, "Two decades ago, I shot Manmadhudu with Nagarjuna sir. Reuniting with him after all these years, his generosity and chivalry are as vibrant as ever. Some memories truly stand the test of time."

To the uninitiated, Anshu Saggar made her debut in 2002 with Manmadhudu, where she played Nagarjuna's Bangalore-bound beau Maheshwari. At the time of her debut, Anshu was 16 years old. She followed that up with the Prabhas starrer Raghavendra and Missamma, where she shared screen space with Sivaji, Laya and Bhumika. These films were released in 2003. She made her Tamil debut a year later with Jai (2004), a remake of the Jr NTR starrer Aadi (2002). Jai starred Prashanth in the lead role. Anshu married Sachin Saggar in 2003, following which she quit working in films. Over the years, she moved to London and worked as  a therapist and a fashion designer, before returning to India.
