Filmmaker Prasanth Varma’s superhero film Hanu-Man completed its 50-day run in over 150 theatres on Friday. On the occasion, Prasanth penned a gratitude note, thanking the audience for their love and support.

Taking to his Instagram page, the Hanu-Man director wrote, “These are 50 wonderful days in my life and I don’t know where to start and whom to thank first. One thing I can sincerely say is that the love of the audience towards good cinema transcends every adversity..! Thank you everyone who are a part of Hanu Man and its glorious run (sic).”

Hanu-Man, which was released on the same day as Guntur Kaaram, had lower collections on day 1 but managed to surpass the Mahesh Babu starrer at the domestic box office in the coming days with strong word-of-mouth.

Hanu-Man stars Teja Sajja in the lead role and has an ensemble cast that includes Amritha Aiyer, Vennela Kishore, Getup Srinu, Vinay Rai, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Samuthirakani. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy under the banner PrimeShow Entertainment, Hanu-Man is slated to have its OTT premiere on March 08 on Zee5.
