Kalki 2898 AD, the Prabhas starrer spectacle, was released today worldwide. Even as the Nag Ashwin directorial is expected to break many box office records in the days to follow, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has shared his reaction to the film.

Taking to his official X page, the RRR filmmaker posted, “Loved the world-building of Kalki 2898 AD. It transported me into various realms with its incredible settings. The last 30 minutes of the film took me to a whole new world.” Rajamouli also lauded his Baahubali collaborator Prabhas, adding, “Darling just killed it with his timing and ease.”

The filmmaker concluded his note by congratulating Nag Ashwin and the production banner Vyjayanthi Movies for "their unmatched efforts in executing it."

It is to be noted that Rajamouli makes a special cameo appearance in Kalki 2898 AD. The film also has a similar cameo by filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Additionally, actors like Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda, and Mrunal Thakur have made brief appearances in the film.

Besides Prabhas, Kalki 2898 AD stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles, with Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in special appearances. Kalki 2898 AD is produced by Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt under the banner Vyjayanthi Movies, which completes 50 years of its foundation this year.
