Sai Durga Tej (formerly Sai Dharam Tej), whose last major on-screen appearance was in the 2023 film Bro, has signed his next film with eminent production banner Primeshow Entertainment. Tentatively titled SDT 18, the film promises to be an action-drama with a mythological element.

The makers of the film shared an official update about the film on Friday, also sharing a poster. The tagline on the poster read, “The land that is longing for his arrival. He will ascend from the depths.” In their post, the makers also informed that the shoot for SDT 18 has officially begun. 

Produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, SDT 18 is being mounted as a pan-India film, with the makers planning to release the film in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film is being directed by Rohith KP. More details about the film’s primary cast and crew are yet to be announced.

Besides SDT 18, the actor has another film in the offing, titled Gaanja Shankar.
