Sharwanand, who recently headlined the musical comedy-drama Manamey, is working with filmmaker Ram Abbaraju in one of his upcoming projects, tentatively titled Sharwa 37. On Wednesday, the makers officially welcomed actress Sakshi Vaidya as part of their film’s lead cast.

Sakshi Vaidya is slated to play a young architect named Nitya in the Sharwanand starrer. The film is being produced by Anil Sunkara and Ramabrahmam Sunkara under their banner, AK Entertainments, in collaboration with Adventures International. AK Entertainments also shared a character poster of Sakshi Vaidya on their X page, adding the caption, “Introducing the talented actor Sakshi Vaidya, who brings Nitya to life in #Sharwa37. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. Can't wait for the audience to fall in love with you.”

Director Ram Abbaraju is also the screenplay writer for the film, while the story and dialogues are penned by Bhanu Bogavarapu and Nandu Savirigana. The film’s music is composed by Vishal Chandra Shekar, while the cinematography is by Gnana Shekhar VS. Brahma Kadali is the art director.

Sakshi was last seen in the Varun Tej starrer action-thriller Gandeevadhari Arjuna. Her upcoming projects include the much-delayed Pawan Kalyan starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
