Production company Mythri Movie Makers have revealed the character of Ananthika Sanilkumar in 8 Vasantalu, written and directed by Phanindra Narsetti.

Ananthika, who was popularly known for her role in MAD, will essay the role of Shuddhi Ayodhya.

The film will follow the eight-year journey of Shuddhi from her age 19 to 27. 8 Vasantalu is expected to explore a multitude of people, emotions, and places Shuddhi encounters. The makers say she embodies her name Shuddhi, meaning purity.

Other than Ananthika, the film cast comprises Ravi Theja Duggirala, Hanu Reddy, Kanna Pasunoori, Sanjana Hardageri, Sameera Kishore, and Swaraj Rebbapragada.

Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers will back this under-production stage.

Other technical crew of the project includes music composer Naresh Kumar, editor Shashank Mali, executive producer Babasai Kumar Mamidipalli, cinematographer Vishwanth Reddy, and action choreographer Wing Chun Anji.
