Manamey clears censorship formalities

The upcoming family entertainer stars Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty in the lead

Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Manamey completed the censorship formalities. The Sharwanand-Krithi Shetty starrer, which is slated to release on June 7, has received a U/A certificate from the censor board.

Manamey is directed by Sriram Adittya, who has previously made films like Bhale Manchi Roju (2015) and Devadas (2018). Addressing the media a few days ago, the director stated about the film, “Manamey is a great film for all age groups. Show it to your parents, they will really love it. This film is really a special one.”

The trailer for Manamey was released in April. The film revolves around a carefree young man (Sharwanand) who finds himself entrusted with the responsibilities of a small child, a duty that also alters the relationship he shares with his partner (Krithi Shetty).

TG Vishwa Prasad has produced the film under the People Media Factory film. Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed the film’s music. Prawin Pudi is the editor, while cinematography is co-helmed by Gnana Shekar VS and Vishnu Sarma.

Upon its release, Manamey will clash at the box office with other films like Love Mouli and Kajal Aggarwal starrer Satyabhama.
