Kannappa, the upcoming fantasy drama starring Vishnu Manchu, has been scheduled for a theatrical release in December. Besides Vishnu, the film stars Madhoo and Sarath Kumar in prominent roles. On Monday, the makers of the film released a character poster for Madhoo. 

24 Frames Factory, the production banner of the film, shared on their official X page, “Presenting Madhubala as Pannaga; The chief of clan, with her fierce & dare-devil spirit, she is a force to be reckoned with.” 

Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, also features guest appearances from Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar. Mohan Babu, who is the producer, is also playing a major role in the film. Brahmanandam, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, and Preity Mukundhan comprise the ensemble cast of the film. Stephen Devassy is the music director, Sheldon Chau is the cinematographer, and Anthony Gonsalvez is the editor.

The makers of Kannappa are planning to release the film in six languages: Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film’s teaser was released at the Cannes Film Festival this year.
