'Sitar song’ from Mr Bachchan is a peppy fusion number

Mickey J Meyer has composed the number, and Sahithi has penned the lyrics

The makers of Ravi Teja's upcoming film Mr Bachchan unveiled their first single on Wednesday. The song, titled 'Sitar Song,’ is composed by Mickey J Meyer.

Sung by Saketh Kondamuri and Sameera Bharadwaj, 'Sitar Song’ is an eclectic romantic number with a heavy classical fusion sound. Additionally, Charulatha Mani, who has rendered the classical raga portions, has been credited with backing vocals. The song video, shot in Kashmir, features Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse.

Mr Bachchan is directed by Harish Shankad S. This film marks his third collaboration with Mickey J Meyer, who had earlier composed music for his films Subramanyam For Sale and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. The film's supporting cast includes characters like Sachin Khedekar and Jagapathi Babu. TG Vishwa Prasad is bankrolling the project under the banner of People Media Factory, and Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. The film's technical crew boasts of some prominent names as well, with Avinash Kolla and Ayayanka Bose helming the production design and cinematography respectively. Ujwal Kulkarni, meanwhile, is the editor.

Mr Bachchan makers are yet to announce a release date for their film.
