The official trailer of Rakshit Atluri starrer Operation Raavan was unveiled on Wednesday. The upcoming action-thriller is written and directed by debutant Venkata Satya.

By the looks of it, Operation Raavan revolves around a series of heinous killings that has terrorized the town, and stunned the police force with its complexities. Rakshit Atluri, meanwhile, seemingly plays a common man who decides to unravel the mystery, for his own reasons, even as the police struggles to solve the case that's far more convoluted than it appears on the surface. At the end of the trailer, audience is given a glimpse of the entire coterie of criminals that might be responsible for the gruesome murders. 

Produced by Dhyan Atluri, Operation Raavan has been billed as a new-age suspense thriller. The film also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar and Sangeerthana Vipin in prominent roles. Actors like Charan Raj, Vidya Sagar, Rocket Raghava, Raghu Kunche, KA Paul Ramu, and Karthik, among others, comprise the supporting cast of the film.

Saravana Vasudevan is the music composer for Operation Raavan.  On the technical front, Satya Giddthuri helms the editing. The cinematography is by Nani Chamidishetty, and art direction by Nani T.

Operation Raavan has been slated for a theatrical release on August 2.
