CE Features

HanuMan, the Telugu film that hit the theatres on January 12, now has a streaming date. The superhero film, starring Teja Sajja in the lead role, helmed by Prasanth Varma, will stream on Zee5 from March 2.

According to reports, the film was supposed to be released on OTT three weeks after its theatrical release. However, due to its immense success in theatres, the streaming date has been pushed to 55 days post-theatrical release.

Following its theatrical release, the film met with positive reception. An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads," HanuMan is a fun and rooted superhero film anchored by a winsome protagonist. Teja Sajja and Prasanth Varma energise a series of 'chosen one' tropes with zany humour and tried-and-tested mythologisations."

HanuMan also features Amritha Aiyer, Vinay Rai, Varalaxi Sarathkumar, and Samuthirakani, among others.

Backed by K Niranjan Reddy of PrimeShow Entertainment, HanuMan is the first instalment of Prasanth Varma's cinematic universe. The sequel is titled Jai Hanuman

The film's technical crew comprises cinematography by Dasaradhi Shivendra, editing by Saibabu Talari, and the music is scored by Gowrahari, Anudeep Dev and Krishna Saurabh.
