Earlier, we had reported that actors Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan would be teaming up for an upcoming film titled Dacoit. On Sunday, marking Shruti Haasan's birthday, the makers released a new poster of the film featuring the actor. 

In the new poster, Shruthi is seen wearing a green saree and staring directly at the camera. 

Dacoit is directed by cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Shaneil Deo, and he co-wrote the script with Adivi Sesh. The upcoming film will mark Shaneil's feature debut. He has previously directed Layla, a short film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. 

Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda of Annapurna Studios and Suneil Narang of Asian Cinemas. The will be released in both Hindi and Telugu. 

Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan, who was last seen in Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, has an India-UK film co-production, Chennai Story, in the pipeline.
