Rescinding from the originally scheduled date of February 9, the makers of Tillu Square announced on Friday that their film will now be released on March 29. This is not the first time the film's release has been postponed. Earlier, the makers first announced September 15, 2023, as the film's release date, following which it was postponed to February 9.

It may be noted that during Sankranti, the Telugu film chamber requested one of the five films vying for a Sankranti release to step back for the benefit of the other four producers. In return, they would be offered a solo release date. Ravi Teja's Eagle, produced by People Media Factory, has then stepped back, citing the 'welfare of Telugu film industry' as a reason. They have also announced February 9 as their film's new release date. Naga Vamsi, the producer of Guntur Kaaram (which came out for Sankranti) seems to have honoured the Telugu film chamber's directives, pushing their banner's film Tillu Square to March 29. 

Tillu Square, starring Siddu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran, is the sequel to the 2022 comedy film DJ Tillu. Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram. Sai Prakash Ummadisingu is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Navin Nooli and music composed by Ram Miriyala.
