We had previously announced that Nithiin will be reuniting with his Bheeshma director Venky Kudumula for the second time. The makers unveiled the film's title, Robinhood, on Friday. A first-look poster and title glimpse video were also unveiled.  As the title suggests, we see the actor make an entry in Santa Claus garb. He holds a bag of money and hides it. The first-look poster of the film shows Nithiin climbing up a building while the words 'All Indians are my brothers and sisters' scrawl across the screen. Adding on to this sentiment, the glimpse video reveals that since all Indians are his brothers and sisters, he feels like he is entitled to steal money from them. 

Robinhood is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. While Rashmika Mandanna was initially announced as the film's female lead, she was replaced by Sreeleela. Sreeleela and Nithiin have recently appeared together in Vakkantham Vamsi's comedy-drama Extra. 

Robinhood also stars Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore. GV Prakash Kumar is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Sai Sriram, editing by Koti and production design by Raam Kumar.
